How to get a FREE $1.00 bill mailed to you (US Only)

I am going to explain 3 simple steps on how to have a $1.00 bill mailed to you.  This is completely free.  No credit card required.  All that is required is a valid email address and that you sign up with your real home or work address.  Don't worry, you will not receive any spam or junk mail.  If you wish, sign up for a seperate free email such as Yahoo, Hotmail, GMail, etc and use that when you sign up.

Step 1:

Register with real information and click the validation email.  (Takes 30 Seconds)

Step 2:

Go to the Points2Shop site  You will see that you have 250 points just for signing up.  This is more than enough to get your free dollar.

At the top of the page click on the SPEND POINTS tab and then navigate to the Low Cost Rewards.

You will see you can get 1 dollar for 100 points.  (There are other low cost prizes if you prefer them, but for this article we will just focus on the 1 dollar)

Click the Get 1 Dollar icon and then select Add To Cart.  You will notice it adds 45 points for shipping costs (Price of a US postage stamp)

Click on the Purchase Rewards With Your Points button and you are all set.  It will process in 1-2 days and you will receive your $1.00 bill in the mail.  You can only request this one time.  This proves the site is legit.  You will soon find that it is very easy to earn more rewards points and get bigger and better prizes.

Make Money with your Computer Real or Not?

Ok, you see the commercials.  You see the adds on Google saying how a local housewife makes $5,000 a day by working from home, etc.

Is this stuff for real?  Basically No, it is not.  Now before you leave, there are some real sites where you can earn rewards from taking surveys, downloading software, etc.  Just not thousands of dollars a day!

Do I have your interest?  Good.

Let me give you a little information about myself.

I am 42 years old and have a wife and 2 sons.  I live in North Carolina.  I was very skeptical of these sites.  Especially those "Get rich quick" sites.

I found a legit site to earn rewards points from surveys, downloads, liking things on facebook, etc.  It really does work but it does take time.  It is called Points2Shop

Here are some key points:

  • Points2shop works with different advertisers. They give points2shop their banners, and their links. Points2shop then has members who are interested in that offer that uses the offer. When that offer is used, points2shop gets paid for sending the customer to that website. When points2shop gets paid, we pay a big portion of that back to the member who completed the offer.
  • This makes for a happy relationship between everyone. The advertiser receives the members that they want, points2shop receives the funds to keep points2shop up and running, and then gives a portion of that money to the member.
  • Points2shop isn't a site that you get 'free' things from. Points2shop is a site that you earn things from. You are spending your time on the site, and receiving a gift in return.

My goal was to get enough to earn a 1600 point Microsoft XBox card for my 10 yr old son.  These retail in the stores for about $20.  So on this site I would need to accumulate 2000 points.  Think of a point as 1 cent.

Just for signing up, you get 250 free points.  If you provide your real information you can get a couple of low cost items shipped to your address.  (Pencils, erasers, stickers, etc)  But one of the neatest things is that they will send you a $1.00 bill in the mail.  You have to do nothing but request it and it will show up within a week.  It is just to prove they are a real company.  You have nothing to lose.  You can sign up and get $1.00 cash.  They do not SPAM you, contact you in any way.  That is one thing I was afraid of and it has been no problems.  I do get emails but they are legit saying that there is a new offer worth xx amount of points, just to keep me updated.

Ok, so when you are verified, your level will change from New to Bronze.  Once you are at the Bronze level you can request bigger and better prizes.  (Like the XBox points I am going for)

First thing I did was install the program Sandboxie.  What it will do is let you run/install programs in a virtual Sandbox that does not affect the rest of your system.  If you happen to get a bad file or a virus, no harm done to your system.  Just wipe your sandbox and you are good to go.  Another method would be to set up a virtual system using Oracle's VirtualBox.  If you are not using a PC you would probably have to use this method to get a windows system up and running because some of the offers require download and install.

Now with everything running, I downloaded a couple of "free games"  Downloaded them in Sandboxie and installed them.  I played once or twice.  When I went back into Points2Shop sure enough, I had 50-80 extra points.  Not bad for just a couple of seconds.

The next offer I did was the Netflix free trial.  It is worth like 800 points.  We have a valid Netflix account so I just used another email and credit card and signed up for the trial.  Instantly I had 800 points added to my Points2Shop account.  I kept the Netflix trial for about a week.  Cancelled online.  Done and good to go.  I still have my points.

As you can see, I am about 1/2 way to my goal.  All of this in about 10 minutes.
To speed this story along, after 8 days I had over 2000 points and was able to order the XBox points.  They were sent via email and I got them about 2 days after ordering.  My son was excited and started ordering map packs, etc for his Xbox games.  I think he spent all of his points in a matter of seconds.  (haha).

Anyway, the Points2Shop site is legit and works.  I usually take my laptop with me to work and I complete a couple of offers over my lunch break.  In no time I will have enough points to get him another XBox card if he wants one.

Maybe I am crazy, but just seems kind of fun or rewarding to earn the XBox card this way rather than just buying it from a store or online.  Plus its an extra $20 in our bank account and can spend on the wife.  :)
Now you might ask what is in it for me for telling you this?  Honestly, if you sign up to Points2Shop as a referral, I get something like 50 points when you complete your first offer.  Nothing more than that.  I am not getting paid to write this.

If you have any questions or need help setting up Sandboxie, VirtualBox, etc.  Please feel free to contact me.
